How The Service Works: 1. Have your Legal Counsel draft and complete the Eviction Process and UCC search. If you don’t have legal counsel, contact one that specializes in Real Property Tenant Evictions. 2. Call Col Tom Abandoned Property Auction Service (1-800-443-3755) to appraise the Abandoned Items and determine whether the Abandoned Items are Valued for $300.00 or more. 3. If less than $300.00 value, you will receive a copy of the Certified Appraisal on the spot and then you can remove the Items and sell or toss them – See your Legal counsel for legal details 4. If valued $300.00 or more, then Col Tom Abandoned Property Auction Service will have the necessary Auction ads placed, arrange/set up on site or move the abandoned items for sale usually within ten (10) days to a neutral location and conduct the Auction, collect and pay the sales tax as required by CA law. 5.
